the masks were simply joke items and only the keaton mask was ever useful as part of a quest
the eye mask also let you talk to those statues, and was a sort of easter egg item. The townspeople are NPCs unless they're used specifically for quests. This is the same in every zelda game, including MM. what temple-specific items

I gotta say...
Twilight Princess really did feel like OoT most of the time I played it(And it was like 25 hours rofl) The last battles, and the storyline itself are what make it different from OoT IMO. Wolf Link = Adult Link more or less

I haven't really enjoyed any 3D Zelda title. The story is always pretty poor and generic (except in MM which was quite interesting) but the combat has never really excited me and the puzzles aren't as good as in the 2D versions. With the new handheld Zelda games the old 2D ones I loved are pretty much dead.
Looks like I'll be picking up 3D dot heroes for my classic Zelda fix.

Man Woppet how could something slip past you like that?
I'm not saying the 3D Zeldas are bad, I mean I can see why people really like them. There just not my cup of tea.
