How the heck did you manage to extract the .des files? Is there a program? Please let me know if there's a way to do this.
EDIT NEver mind, I found a U8 extractor, but the BMP files in these archives seem to be corrupt.

I took a look at the files for Cave Story Wii a while back. Seems like it could use the exact same file system as the PC version (which would make ripping a breeze), but since the files have some sort of compression, I can't confirm that.
Oh, and the new Quotes for Easy, Hard, Halloween and Christmas are also in the "Original" graphics mode.

Well I managed to get the method of extraction right thanks to some people who are more...inclined to actually delve into programming styles. Unfortunately even with their help I can't seem to find the 'enhanced' sprites anywhere in the internal files. They're probably in one of the .des files that can't be extracted properly.
Anyways, I guess it's up to you Azu, to supply us with the enhanced sprites. I eagerly await the Doctor and Ballos!

I've been ripping some of the huds and all of the some Disgaea 3 arte. I'll get around to doing the weapons once I've beaten the game.

You can view them here in the meantime. http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h53/Sodisna/Rips/ Also, I want to ripping ZHP: Unlosing Hero, however, TiledGGD nor GGD can't seem to show them right no matter what setting I have it at. Palettes seems to be at the end. "ANM_HI" Image Settings Width: 256 (for weapons and icons) and 512 for the sprites. Format: 8bit Big-Endian Mode: Linear Palette Settings Format: 4 BPO (Bytes Per Order) Big-Endian Mode: Linear Color Order: BGR There's two sets of ANM files. ANM, and ANM_HI. Since I'm sure RTB rip this better than I, I'm only doing things like illustration pic and stats icon, etc
