i mean this wasn't even a problem for anyone other than some members who think "EWW GIRLS, EWW GROWS, THEY HAVE COOTIES" and dazz as far as i'm aware until it was brought up

It wasn't a problem until the staff actually decided to step in and say "hey, there's literally too much profanity and indecency on this site, it's a site for sprites."

If you absolutely have to have an indecent avatar/signature/username, then you can go have one somewhere else, tSR is making these changes soon and we really don't want to hear tons of complaining about it.

Also, it's not the fact that some members don't "like girls" or think they're gross. I love women, myself. And most everything about them- but that still doesn't change the fact that this a spriting website geared for those searching for things related to video games, not a huge spam board. Nor is it a place for constant profanity, either.

I'm a girl and I don't see a problem if you guys like your porn, hentai and any sort of sexuality stuff. You can go all S&M for all I care. Human beings are driven by instinct too and we all need our healthy dose of sex. However you get your fix is your problem, no one have nothing to do with that. But you absolutely need to show off your personal collection at a site that having nothing to do with that? Would you do this at a cooking forums for example? Most places won't let you register or use those types of nicknames, and there is a good chance you might be banned or at least warned if you use inappropriate avatars and signatures.
If you want to use those, try 4chan ;p

I could go into why I personally don't like the fad of HURR SEXY LAYDEE avs but I'd probably just get reamed and I'm smarter than that.

But you must be able to accept that some people don't want to see it. Is it really, really so much to ask that you just respect that? You're overreacting to a pretty simple request.

There are plenty of forums where you can discuss HURRR HURR TITS and flaunt your sexuality as if it makes you in any way special, but this isn't one of them.

we're not talking about art, or artistic expression. We're talking about whether or not you're allowed to use cropped softcore as avatars on a forum with a broad age span. Please do not claim this is anything to do with expression or anything else, and at least be honest enough to say "Hey, I like titties." or "Hey, I'm attention starved", or whatever.

I'm not really complaining about it as much as I'm pointing out the fact that it's more "immature" than just a naked girl like Rhymey's. It's still annoying, though.
