I agree it looks a bit too fast, but if the game is adjusted to that I don't think it'd really be a problem...

I think at worst it'll be mediocre. it doesn't strike me as something that would be HORRIBLE horrible...I'm just a bit wary.

honestly i see nothing of super metroid in this;
if anything, its a hint of fusion - or zero mission. it seems to take after the more abrupt and "heavy" control scheme of zero mission - which also means that things are faster; not faster because they are, but faster because the build-up has been removed.

Well, what I meant was the fact that it combines both a 2D game with a 3D game and makes it into what seems like it will be an amazing game.
