[b]I think that's how it's called.
What I mean is like changing sprites. You know like in pokemon, you change the pokemon portraits for other sprites. How do you do that ?[b]

Hi everyone o/~
i'm new in this spriting stuff, and first of all i would like to know if it is possible to take the 2D sprites of an rpg for playstation. At first i was taking thousands of screenshots, wich brought myself a lot of work O.O, and by now i'm really giving up cause it takes to long for almost nothing... Is there a better way to rip this 2D sprites from this playstation rpg game? I was searching some stuff and i found a program, with this i could only take some *.tmd files... and i don't have any idea what is this =/ is there a way? =P thanks a lot ;P (ps.: and sorry if i posted this question on the wrong place, i was really confused where should i post =x)

So, say I`d want to rip a sprite from a NES game, how would I GET the game in the first place, to be able to rip sprites from it?
edit: And would there be a way to select sprites in games so the program rips it for you? So you don`t have to take a million screenshots and then take away everything you don`t want all the time...

Write ''NES roms'' on google. You also need an emulator like nesticle or FCEUltra to run them. If you want to rip the sprites directly from the rom go here for a tutorial: http://www.tenchionline.com/ragey/Random...prites.htm

Ahhh... so the games are roms... I thought the program to rip sprites were called roms. Ok.
So, also, (as I said before) is there an easy way to rip the sprites? Or do you have to do everything manually?(Making loads of screenshots, cropping and manually deleting everything around the sprite...)
