I would have a Mismagius named Vivian and I would dress her up all fancy and we'd go to all sorts of contests!
I'd also have a Froslass named Yuki and I'd have her use ice attacks like Powder Snow or something when it starts getting too hot out because Arizona is hell during the summer. And we could have snowball fights and that would be great fun. :3c

well yes therapy dogs are used to show autistic kids responsibility and awareness for others or something they don't jump on you and hump your leg - these dogs are super-obedient, do tricks on command without the dog sitting there all clumsy and like being walked. its the closest thing to a big cat on a leash
assuming this is a pokemon world (HEH) id think researchers would notice the human-pokemon bond is stronger than the one between people and dogs, and have a child : pokemon therapy program with like eevees
