Nintendo did do pretty well, didn't they?

EDIT: This is the background from jolly roger bay and dire dire docks. It is unusual because it only has 41 pieces. The last piece is repeated for three rows because it is one color. here's the sky:

This so much; that CCM/SL one, in particular, is amazing. So nice to see them not stretched to the point of ludicrosity, and without the stages in the way.

It is rather refreshing, isn't it? This skybox has the same number of pieces as the previous one; 41, but the repeated tile is black instead of blue. here it is:

Okay...

D***! The bowser dark world sky is near impossible to rip because of the F****** camera! I'm going to have to use a hacking device and put the sky somewhere else just to rip it!

EDIT: Wonderful news! I have all the textures for the next sky! It will be up soon.
first four rows are done.

EDIT: oy. Putting this sky together was grueling. DO NOT STEAL ANY OF THEM, BUT ESPECIALLY THIS ONE! Here it is:

And sorry, if this wasn't necessary, but I kinda fixed your Boo's Haunt background by stretching the moon piece in by one pixel. I hope this is fine with you.
