Ripping Questions
Of course, I will return the favor (with interests!) to whoever could teach me this memory dumping ripping business. Smile

Sorry, I'm more a dogs person

Seriously, maybe we should recruit somebody with experience in reverse engineering programing.

Linked due to pretty big size.

I found some Unused Golden Silver Sprites when going around Tile Layer Pro, but the problem is....The sprites appear all scattered around! I think MetalDodomon ( whatever the name was ) had the same problem, anybody know how to fix this problem?

They're misaligned, you just need to adjust them first, I don't know what the buttons for Tile Layer Pro is, but try the + or - keys.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

HEllo folks. After fully ripping Drawn to Life (Will be posted in my topic at some point), I've decided to move onto Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. Unfortunately, the file system isn't the same as the original. I've gone through many of the files within it, but I'm only up to the second folder as I have classes to attend now and it severely restricts my ripping capabilities. I was wondering if someone could instruct me on how to properly rip from this game. So far the files are apparently uncompressed, as some of them can eb opened with Tile Molester at the setting sof 8bpp linear, 1-dimensional. So far all I've found are menus and backgrounds, and while backgrounds would be a good rip, I'm afraid I don't have the patience for it, so I'm sticking to the sprites.

Here is a RAR holding the graphics data in the game with the folders they were assigned to. Upon looking at them you'll discover soon why I'm so confused with them.

I took a look inside Drawn to Life the Next Chapter's filesystem, and it looks pretty much exactly the same as in Lock's Quest. You can still use Glycerin Map Viewer, but the files won't have the file extension.

NCLRs are inside C folders and end in either e or s, NCGRs end in g and NCERs end in c.

Oh, thanks! That helps a lot.

Out of curiosity though, what are the files that end in "a"?
Thanked by:
NANRs (animation resource), Glycerin doesn't use them.

Anyone knows good tips to rip from PS2 games?
I managed to get a copy of Klonoa 2 (Wahoo!) and I'm trying to see what could I rip from it, but I checked the web for tips and all what I found was messages of people asking how to rip from PS2 games. Tongue
Thanked by:
Yeah, I want to know that too. I found a program called Game Graphic Studio but it don't work that great.
I also tried using an emulator and 3D Ripper DX but the games I tried (Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha games and Persona 4) didn't worked out very well, you might try it too, Maneko. Maybe it works for you.
How they ripped the Persona 3 stuff?
