Sega Announces new 2D Sonic title

The game would have been really goddamn short if it was Sonic-only.

That works back in the Genesis days, but now? Such a short game wouldn't be tolerated. At least not in that format (hence why Sonic 4 is a downloadable).

I'm still on the "How do you got from Sonic Adventure a game where polish and the times speak for themselves.

Then to a game where you up the graphics the ability to choose where and how you get somewhere is gone, but that's fine. No one really needs a hub just a level selector, then you start fucking up by not adding tails and Knuckles to Sonic levels with Sonic following him.

Now we have Shadow using a Gun he didn't need but it's fine I personally like the more bad ass hedgehog, then you add in the Hedgehog cam, and ramps and platforms the literally disappear from under you. Plus, Shadow's contorls are sloppy and hard to manage...how do you fuck up a dude's run when you just finished SA2B and Sonic Heroes?

I'm never going into Sonic 06'.

Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Sonic and the Black Knight Were both great premises fun new twist on an old hero, kind of like Fluud for Mario and Spinning from Galaxy but unlike those games Mario actually kept the 3D game that made him great.

I am not the fanbase, but I know what I did, and didn't like and I know how easy it to copy and paste mechanics and code. Why SEGA doesn't I will never know. Oh, yeah and I'm still getting Sonic 4.
