Point Man (As I see him) Custom WIP

I was reading the novel Point Man and got inspired, it's still in WIP stage, but I figured I'd post what I've got. Comments and critiquing are much welcomed. I figure I'll have to rework the shading, and work on the AA, but I'd like to hear what you all have to say.

Small changes, still need find a way to make the shoes better, and I'm having trouble making a fist seem like a fist and not a blob, any advice on how I can do that?

just avoid drawing every finger. you dont need to do that, just -sugesting- that they are there will do the work.

just noticed the character has no neck, at all. his head is coming out of his chest. also, you have just way too many jagged/random black lines with several shades of the same color with minimal contrast between them. try to clean these all these black lines, then block out the base color of each part, and then add one single shade of color, avoiding as many random dots of detail as posible. its just something simple but that whould help you get a better vision on what should and what shouldn't/couldn't really be portrayed in the sprite.

Alright, thank you, I was hoping the scarf like clothing could work for the neck, but seeing as that isn't so, how should I go about adding a neck? I'll get on this as soon as possible, thanks for the help Metaru.

Just move the head up a little more. Therefore you now have a neck!

Alright, tell ya'll what. I got work from 1-9 today, but when I get home I'll 1. Fix the neck, black lines, and color blocking 2. change the colors. That sound good? I'd do it now, but I gotta get ready for work.
