it uses the PM2 model, which has no legs and who's body is basically a circle

So nothing else is really PM2 related besides the circle body and lack of legs? Also, his arms are REAAALLY long in some poses, like when he holds stuff. And when he does the peace sign, his arm is so long and soooo straight.

hmmm yes, because I'm sure paper mario 2 textures literally had circle shaped bodies and not egg shaped ones...

Well if you're going for a Paper Mario-ish look, then I'd suggest that you lower the arms a bit in the standing poses. It would also help to make his hands a bit larger. Also, his head should be a bit bigger to fit in his hat.

This is a good start though.
