So, do you also use the "Dump Textures" feature of Dolphin ?

If you look at the bottom of every sheet, you will notice that I am working with Retriever II of MFGG. He's the one who rips them.

My guess he uses too, and then converts the tga to some other format, probably png

It's like an OAM viewer except it automatically saves what is onscreen.

Weird, my version of Dolphin saves in tga. Maybe I have to configure it with the right options?

maybe it saves different image types for games with certain graphics filters. I know when I tried it with sonic unleashed I got tga files. Speaking of which, I still have the level texture files on my computer. Maybe I'll post them sometime.

I got Dolphin 2.0
And the only games where I tried dumping textures are New super mario wii and DBZ Budokai (on GC). PS: If you guys want me to submit textures from those two games, just ask.

New super mario bros. wii stuff? I have some of that on my computer. You could do the project if you wanted to, though. Gosh I have a lot of stuff on my computer that I haven't posted. Speaking of which, I cleared off my old computer and reinstalled the OS, and it works now, so we'll see if I can get dolphin to work again.

I got Dolphin 2 too
Oh, booscaster, not sure you now it but if you get an error message while trying to run it, just install a new version of Direct X, reboot and try again. It happened to me :p

well, huh. apparently, although my max framerate is set to 60, my average framerate is about 3, and I'm having memory card trouble. Maybe I should get a new computer that runs faster. Or look for a graphics card that supports OpenGL. Heh heh heh...
Wow graphics cards are expensive! I think I'd be better off buying my own laptop with extra random access memory, A large amount of memory, and a graphics card that supports openGL 2.x. So I may have to hold off on dolphin, at least until around July 25, when I can take a look at some job offers.

Okay, I've started on the next sheet, but it's about as big as the rogueport one and will take a while to finish. Please be patient.
Also, since I know it takes a while to start a new site, I would like to request a new sister-site in advance to the finishing of this project. Since the sounds resource doesn't cover music, I think there should be a videogame music resource. I have lots of videogame music I could upload, and I'm sure videogame creators (like myself) would find it useful. Grooveman said in the guidelines that those songs can be found from countless other sites, but wouldn't it be better if people could just come to tVGR instead of having to search google and possibly pick up a computer virus?

I agree to that.
06-17-2010, 02:28 PM
I know and I agree to that, but you guys must remember one little thing called "copyright". Even if the music is ripped, and you say you got to buy the soundtrack otherwise it's illegal and everything, I guess Dazz wants to avoid any possible headaches.
