i was pointing it out for everybody like koopaul
You could kind of tell that that's a mockup...the Top half is shorter than the bottom...
Also, I don't see how the NES resembled the SNES, one was a Box with a Front Loader, and the other was a Top Loader (But yeah, GB & GBC are more or less the same design) Anyway, I'm excited for it...Not so much for the 3D (although that's pretty cool) but more for the 'hey new handheld' Factor
The Gameboy and Gameboy Color did have the same design but not so much that it looks exactly like the same system except for a larger screen.
Gameboy Pocket however...

I had the clear purple one and I loved it
I can't believe I gave it away what the fuck was wrong with me asdfghjkl (06-12-2010, 04:35 PM)JoshR691 Wrote: Also, I don't see how the NES resembled the SNES, one was a Box with a Front Loader, and the other was a Top Loader (But yeah, GB & GBC are more or less the same design) Didn't they come up with a top-loading NES near the end of the system's life? EDIT: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_En...d_model%29) Either way, the front-loading NES is more well-known, and that looked nothing like either of the two SNES designs. But, what is the problem with designing a console that looks similar to the previous one?

i can understand the gbasp > ds comparison but the nes looked nothing like the snes and the gb and gbc had totally different styling even though they had the same layout, etc
I can understand wanting the 3DS to look good itself, but I just hope the games look good and play well.
