Trading in 360 for ps3?

While the PS3 has more exclusives, in terms of non-exclusives, the both get exactly the same shit - a larget pool in total than either of the individual console exclusives.

So who gives a shit? Own whichever's cheaper. Although if you do want to use online alot, having free online is an advantage.

Well, I own two out of the three (and my brother owns a 360) and while I'm more of a Nintendo man, I have to say, I'd stick with the PS3 over the 360...Literally all of my games Except for GTA4 (and maybe MGS4, I dunno, I haven't looked into it...) are PS3 exclusives, and I still have more exclusives that I want to buy/Try out (ModNation Racers, Uncharted 1 & 2, God of War 3, etc...)

...And when it comes to Third Parties...Well, (For the most part) they're the same game on each console...So, it comes down to which exclusives you like more...Or if you're just a fan of Third Party games, stick with what you have, unless it's an Exclusive Third Party game, it'll be on either one

I just wish I would have waited another Few months before I bought it, so I could've got it for $299 instead of $499...

I'd say keep the Xbox, and just buy a PS3 when you get money to. It sounds like your brother would be pissed off if you sold it, and most games are multiplatform nowadays anyway. You probably won't get a good payoff from selling the 360 anyway. Gamestop rips you off, and I know I would never buy a used Xbox from eBay.

The assumption that the PS3, while admittedly true that it does have a BETTER community than 360, still sucks my ass.

In the 6 months I've had my ps3 I have literally only encountered an "immature" person on the ps3's online community

well yeah it obviously depends on the game you're playing, but in general it's a lot worse than PS3's in comparison


and in order to make this post not sound like fanboy speech (because it isn't!!!!!!!!!!) i may as well throw out that the pc community for most pc games is infinitely worse than the 360's community (looking at you, valveheads)

Eh I"ll just buy a ps3 if my interest is still high after a few more weeks. I barely get time to play games as it is, and with 2 jobs now it's not like I can't afford one after I get paid. Also Fin, we do need to play together some time .

nope, they're offering a subscription service, but everything that is currently free will be free still. so it's like XBOXLIVE, but a million times better.
what it offers, is free deals on PSN games, and just for subscribing you get a free copy of little big planet. you'll also get discounts and stuff on PSN titles and sony first party games.

Jugding by this and last years E3. Get a ps3. Xbox is falling apart. The new 360 literally copied ps3 fats design. M$ knows that ps3 is better.
