I'm just going to respond to everyone at once. No, I'm not snapping and I'm not angry. I'm just using all caps on occasion because that's the important part and it's like a bit of a notice. People should give a shit about the characters because they're the ones who are potentially going to make them. MFGG is for games that run like programs. This one is a romhack. I was unaware that 34®ß0*3® was joking. Thank you for deleting the poll, but I don't think I need a poll anymore since if people are going to make suggestions, they would have to say so and I wouldn't be able to edit the poll again. I have all the tools I need for editing graphics. I'm fine. Worst case scenario I open a sheet up in an image editor and change the colors. I made the roster random on purpose. It's not necessarily true that nobody will make the sprites. You make spritesheets here. And this is the sprite request form. Only people that WANT to make sprites will make them (which doesn't appear to be anyone at all [as of yet]).

Yeah I'm sure they will make them if they give a shit, but in this case here, hardly anyone does so enough is said there. lastly I could give less of a damn about if it's a rom hack or not, the whole idea is pretty much something only MFGG's community would enjoy.

well you are right on the people who would want to do this, but the only problem I see here is that, it's gonna be hard to find anyone that will give a shit with something like this, and you are making it sound like everyone will them shit for you because you happen to think you are all high and mighty on your throne in the computer room. Also, I am not forcing anyone to do anything. This is all I'm doing. Trying to ask their opinion of which characters will be in the hack (this matters because they might be making them) and then seeing who's willing to make them. Because this is the request forum. I'm merely asking for help, and I know that at this point it's unlikely.

The only person who has made custom SMK sprites before that I could get a hold of doesn't make them anymore, and I knew him from a different site since last year. There's no private messaging buttons on the profiles (that I could find). You keep trying to make me look like an asshole and that I'm commanding people to make sprites for me, but then I would be posting in a demands forum instead of a requests forum.

Basically what I'm saying is that your accusations aren't making much sense and you're not helping anybody by insulting me.

no one gave opinions about the characters that should be in the rom hack because no one is going to make those sprites and no one is even closely interested in taking part in this. we're sugesting you to try your luck at mfgg because we do think you'll have a better chance in a comunity that would be more interested in a game/rom hack of mario kart.

if you try to do that the colours will screw up in the game.
You only change the colours on the image not in the game itself.

Ryu and Ken should be the main characters; Yun and Yang are incredibly awesome but they're not the original World Warriors, hence THEY should be unlockables

Also how will unlockables work? I don't remember the original Mario Kart having unlockable racers, why would you do it here? Or how? Do you know ASM to do so? (also good luck working on a TEAM HACK when you're the one making decisions that no one will agree with lul

@kosheh: Thanks for coming up with characters for the hack, but I already decided because nobody else wanted to help decide. Also, I know very little ASM, but I'm learning and I know several people who are good with ASM (they're also the ones who are teaching me).

@YONK!!!: I know that's been said. MFGG is for programs, not hacks. Even if they were as good at making custom sprites as the people here, they wouldn't know what any requirements for the SNES are anyways. They wouldn't know what colors they are allowed to use, that kind of thing. The only reason I chose to look for members here in the first place is because I've seen some of the custom SMK sprites here and they are all awesome, but they are missing a lot of sprites required by the game, which is why I can't use those sheets which is one of the reasons I'm requesting here. And who cares if SMK hacks are stupid? All you guys are doing (that is, if you choose to) is making sprites. I'm the one putting them in the game. Why should you care how I use them? Like I said, their names are going to be in the credits and on the tracks (and maybe the title), so it's not like I'm saying I made the sprites.

Well then don't expect your request to get done for you.

If you want others to make sprites in a game for you then you have to pay them with actual cash, even if it is just a fan game, you obviously won't pay them as much as you would for a game you are putting on the market that you came up with everything yourself (and not based off of another game).

Money is our Motivation so unless it is a really small simple thing or there is already plans to get it done anyway before the request (like ripping a sprite sheet or something) then it will not get done without money.
