But I'm absolutely horrible with the Pokemon style.

What type?

Could I be the rival, and why not use dppt instead of rse? The quality is better

Nope the Rival and main characters are gonna be nobodies.

Also there is nothing i can use to Hack a DS pokemon game with.

If you can spell the type right then possibly. It depends if Britt want it instead or not seeing as he posted first.

How limited is the hack in terms of how we are able to edit pokemon, events and the like? For example, do we have to have the same number of Pokemon, and we can only make a pokemon if it replaces and has the same type/stats of a pre-existing one? I just don't understand how intricate of a change one can make in the game.

I think the only Limit I have it the amount of pokemon I can put in the game. (The same amount of pokemon there was at the end of Gen 3 I'd assume.)

Other then that I can change pretty much everything.

I think you can add maybe twenty to thirty pokemon without taking out the actual pokemon, it depends on how many ??? Glitch pokemon are in the data

We will be making our own pokemon for this. Infact some of the members will be pokemon so yeah.

One thing I always wanted to do was make a lineup for TomGuycott as a Pokemon trainer using pokemon based on the other six main bosses from the game he originates from: http://www.spriters-resource.com/nes/cla...heet/28284

Seems kinda elaborate though, I don't know if I'd even have the energy to do six governors, let alone one. XD Plus it would make the lineup multi-type, which is really only fitting for a main villain or Elite Four, which I'm not sure I'd wanna be.

Oh, and I'd definitely want to incorporate those sunglasses into the trainer sprite. 8D

Maybe you use the first bosses from the game during you first encounter(s), and switch to the later three bosses later claiming the previous were too weak. Seeing as how the different trainer encounters are treated as different trainers completely in the rom. Also it make him sound heartless/evil

That's actually a good idea, and maybe there could be a hard battle late in the game or one of those rematch type battles where he uses all six. I even had ideas for the pokemon related, stat and attribute wise and such.

Gazh: Either Fire/Steel, Fire/Electric, or Electric/Steel with a FEW fire type moves. Maybe Levitate (He's on a floating bike)

Max: Steel, Grass or Normal with some growing related abilities or creating copies (Growth, Minimize, Double Team, whatever)

Mush: Grass/Normal

Pandar: Normal/Dark

Shark: Water/Dark (Sharpedo? xD)

Bopper: Normal/Steel, Normal or Steel with Technician ability.

And possibly as a bonus battle using a super-strong pokemon in story:

The Demon: Dark/Ground

Demonhead: Dark/Flying (Actually a lower evolution of The Demon, seeing as it's just the head, or rather the big flying eyeball, but he uses it second because the body gets destroyed).
