It's a hell lot more original compared to chrono tiger and fucking shitty fantasy if you consider how many mid-evil inspired games there were at the time.
wh

on a personal choice i'd pick Front Mission.

Play both. Then play Mother 3 because it's better than Earthbound in almost every single way.

to add to my previous post, both Front mission games were awesome on their own.
same as both chronno trigger and earthbound.

Just started playing a couple hours ago.
...
It's just so slow. I know most RPGs are like that at first
But Jesus
I regret not turning text on "Fast"
Chrono is definitely better.
Plus, it takes you 16 enemies to make one level up.

Why are you playing both at the same time?
Hell; if you've only just started playing two games a few hours ago, you're not far enough into either game to judge it. To jump the gun like that is retarded. You don't deserve to play either of them thinking like that :E

That's a good point
But look at it this way
How many people on the internet do you think do that
I'm not saying i'm trollin on the game, but the battle system is very slow.
I know how the game ends, how it's played, the story and all.
So, I could judge it a little.
Nah, I said in the first post that I was halfway through Chrono.
Chrono's badass.
You know why?
Talking frog with sword. (That cuts through mountains) 'Nuff said.

Funny, because I was listening to a let's play of wind waker and the author said that he thought Earthbound was really easy
But yes, i think it's hard.
RPGs are forever better with timed hits. (*SMRPG*)

you'll like mother 3 then
it has (multiple) timed hits, plus combos
iirc you can hit an enemy up to 16 times per attack if you're good and can hit all the times hits perfectly

Timed hits... Sounds awesome
But.
How would you know when to hit? There's nothing indicating when your (Insert weapon here) will hit them, is there?
Ooh, I know another good topic that isn't necessarily big enough to start a THIRD thread on.
What, do you think, Giygas is?

Why don't you play the game/s and find out?
I mean seriously it's all explained in game
