I sprited Cloud (Added Aeris)

I did give him ears, but they are obscured by his hair.

EDIT: Had a crack at Aeris. Took forever to get the shape of her hair right.

Hm, If you are going to sprite in this style you will need to start from scratch and not do an edit of the Link sprite. Therefore you are getting limited with the current size and such things.

I'm not editing. I am doing things from scratch, I'm just trying to work in a similar style.

Sadly, this one is a step back. It's not really in style and her head seems to be messed up anatomy wise, take a little more time and check out some more reference on her

Odd. Aside from her hair, her head uses the same lines as Clouds. Must be the hair that's doing it. I was thinking something looked a little out-of-style about her though. I'll see what I can do.

EDIT: Some jiggery pokery occured. New on the left, old one next to Cloud.
