I totally agree about the characters be kinda weird, but they suit preety well with the sprite style. They look more modern and colorless than the majority of the street fighter characters, I mean, they have are less "colored". But It has the best 2D sprites ever of SF series, and the gameplay is much better than the Street Fighter Alpha series, which everybody says to be the "best all-time SF series".

I actually didn't like SF3, but I think this is the thing that'll break that. I've played it and liked...things about it but I thought all the characters were really weird. >:

But then I actually played it and liked the hell out of Ibuki and Makoto. so
