Heros wasn't bad the the issues Tyvon started are pretty much the only reason why I didn't like it. It was a decent game and still fun to watch my niece fall off the ledge on purpose.

Nope sorry. Sonic and Knuckles is the last good sonic game that came out.

I mean there were a few good ones but not as great and amazing as the original 3.

Sonic 3 AND Knuckles was the best one ever, though. Best story, best gameplay, best graphics. (Yes, graphics. Yes.)
If you want to call that a game. It was kind of an add-on to S&K, though most people consider it a game.

I didn't like the 3rd alone very much; it was too short. Plus, I thought that most of the levels were either boring, or sucked.

Personally I didn't like SAB1 that much. Great game, IMO, but I was never too fond of it.
SAB2, I loved that game. I can't exactly remember why, but I did.
there is no sonic adventure 1 battle(unless you mean the DX version of the original sonic adventure 1)

Sonic 3 AND Knuckles was the best one ever, though. Best story, best gameplay, best graphics. (Yes, graphics. Yes.)
if by story you mean two or three cutscenes compared to the 3d games who actually have a plot and dialogues (despite how shitty they could be sometimes)

S&K is the addon actually for any of the previous 3(with the 3rd getting the most out of it), but it IS a game that you can play without any of the previous 3.

My point is, that S3&K was the best because it set the ground for future Sonic games.
Remember the mural-type thing in Hidden Palace? With Super Sonic on it?
(Bear with me, just a theory)
And you know how Shadow has... well, right side-up quills?
Shadow is based off the "Prophecy" of Super Sonic
Because i guess the ancient Echidna race could see into the future that way.

Plus, it was just the best game, IMO.
Not wanting to start anything, it's just my opinion.

I know a guy who's played it.
Sucks.
The physics are terrible, you can literally WALK up walls, not run, but walk.
He said the same for water physics too.
So i guess SEGA thinks Sonic is Jesus now.

But, it all depends on if you still believe in SEGA to make good Sonic games.
Which, I do not.

I wouldn't agree. In fact, I'd say Heroes is the worst game in the series. Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 2006 included.

The poorly-coded physics and numerous glitches make the game almost unplayable; I played up to the last level (I think, whatever it was it looked, sort of, like the Egg Carrier from Adventure, so I'm assuming it was the final level) with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, at which point I just couldn't bear to play anymore for how terrible it was, and the disk was removed from the Gamecube never to be put back in. It's been years since I played it, but even now, just thinking about Sonic Heroes makes me feel ill.

It's that bad.

I think the furthest point with team sonic I got was the casino level before I gave up because of the pinball machine section.
I don't even remember where I got with team dark.
I never even beat the first level with team rose because it's literally unplayable.
I didn't bother playing anything past the first level with Team Chaotix because it sucked so bad.

Well then your disk was either really fucking scratched up or your gamecube was shitty because I never had horrible glitches with it. The worse I ever had with the game was kinda wonky controls at times but other then that it was mainly the whole team thing wasn't executed right.

No, the game was very glitchy indeed. You could clip through most of the scenery by accident; and by the time you get to Frog Forest, the accuracy of landing on rails or grabbing vines was so haphazard (coupled with a wonky-as-shit camera), it got too frustrating to play.

Which was a shame; but I'm perfectly ok with not finishing it.
