My First Sprite Attempt

i don't plan to submit this but i'm trying my hand at spriting for the first time and i figured i can get an honest opinion from u guys. Here's the sprite It was edited from Piccolo that Dazz ripped. Again, not for submission, just for critique.

As I haven't seen the origional I think its pretty good, the arms look a tad odd though

yea Tea i read that like right after i posted it, that was my fault and i understand ur policy on edits but i'm not going to submit it at all, i just need some criticism so that i'll know what to do for when i try it from scratch.

and thanx sooty but could u be more specific about the arms? is it the shading?

It's against the rules to fish for compliments when you're posting a sprite but
I think I'll start enforcing this rule for replies to a thread too, it's fucking annoying

for a first sprite, this actually isn't too bad. lord knows my first attempts weren't too much better. i guess the only thing i can really say is try and learn more about colors and save your images as pngs. have more contrast, hue-shift a bit more, experiment.
