Transparency Trouble.

Greetings. There are many sprite sheets on tSR that I really need, but I cannot use because they are not transparent! Does anyone know a way or a program that will let me remove the backgrounds on even large sheets? Thanks.

I need them to be transparent so I can import them into Flash without funky colors around it.

Into this:


Notice how all the white and green is gone? That's what I need.
In case you're wondering, I used PowerPoint for this one, but it only works on small sheets.
