I'm pretty sure none of us are going to use it, especially since we've changed the style. Just, uh, I don't want any credit...

Bumpity-bump.
I edited the arm cannon from #2, because I felt it needed touching up. However, I didnt get round to the shoulders.

It looks like we went from sprite, to detailed sprite, to MORE detailed sprite, to EVEN MORE detailed sprite.
Go back to #1 and apply the fixes that are actually needed, such as detailing the shoulders a little more, and improving the feet slightly. And the arm cannon.

I'm against the new Samus. #1 is smooth, simple, fits the style, and looks more interesting. it just needs a little less black lines IMO.

The new one looks more like Samus, I think, but it's too complex. We need a happy medium.

imo we should go with the new one but kill a shade or two. even the first one looks overshaded compared to mario.
also i think we should base her more on her design in the games because the bulky smash design looks kind of dorky in sprite form.

How about just cutting the cannon from the newest one into #1? And hmm, I think the feet need to be a little more yellow (on #1 that is).

Some characters, especially the more humanoid ones (Samus, Ganondorf, Snake) will naturally have more detail in them. If they have the right amount of colors, I think that's ok. We just need to minimize the detail/difficulty.

the right one is just colour/shading reduced, the left one also has pose edits

My Version before we actually start the others.

Best.
I'd probably lift her left leg one pixel though. Mainly because, the way it is now implies that she has her left foot perfectly in front of her right. |
