So your telling me that adding 4 more unnecessary sequels, 2 half assed spin offs, about 2 successors, about 500 cameos and one korean side scrolling MMO isn't enough.

adding X in a smash bros game is overdoing it, and not adding in classic is like having justice league with no superman. sorry.

How does X have excess-fan service? It hasn't had a game in awhile. Classic has excess-fan service, shoot you could even hold up a stronger argument for LEGENDS having more fan service. X arguably has one of the coolest feels to it and despite its relevence and popularity it doesn't get that much when it has the chance to (command mission 2 never happened, not much going on in capcom fighters besides zero getting into the tvc REMAKE that legends/classic already got rep in, despite already being frequent crossover reps)
I feel that Classic, X and Legends are the frequent go-tos for a reason. They have some of the most likable characters and atmospheres. Out of these three, X has gotten the least in terms of fan service.

What part of X isn't legit enough to be "just for the fanboys" anyway? It's a fine series.

-Sequels were practically an accident and classic is a series that pretty much consists of unnecessary sequels, but it's fine
