Kirby Super Star Ultra Foregrounds - Now: Revenge of Meta Knight

Kinda awkward being so new and posting something to submit, but here I am. I noticed lots of backgrounds posted for Kirby Super Star Ultra, but very few non-Spring Breeze foregrounds... Not the best thing for someone wanting to make a KSSU-style sprite comic, so I started ripping some for personal use... then decided to share the "wealth", starting with Dyna Blade.

Dyna Blade - Stage 1 Foregrounds (linked due to MASSIVE sheet size)


It's not perfect, but it's what I could do with screenshots alone (no other method was working properly; let's hear it for AnimGet).

I'm already working on the rest, but it's slow going. Oh, and pardon my babbling. I do that.

Sir,you get my biggest respect for even trying to rip those foregrounds with screenshots. I have ripped DeDeDe's Castle on my own and it was the hell (not even very good because some passages were very hard to capture) . I finally stopped ripping foregrounds when I started to rip foregrounds from MK's Revenge. Impossible when only able to screen capture,most of the foregrounds were animated. I seriously wish you good luck with them (and maybe I could use them for my sprite movie series)

Ah, all this talk of animation has just reminded me... I completely forgot to get the various frames in Stage 1, not to mention a whole (albeit small) room.

I also have Stage 2 good to go for the most part, but all the blocks in the scrolling segment made a clean rip virtually impossible by my method, so it's not on here.

I have Stage 3 pretty much done, I just haven't put it together into a whole sheet yet... and Stage 4 is already threatening to give me carpal tunnel. Two rooms filled to the brim with animated water and lava tiles... bah. I'll probably take care of them at the same time.

I was just wondering if you are still doing the rips of KSSU,especially TRoMK. I am eager to see if you can pull that through,since I tried the Revenge of MK levels I stopped with KSSU,since I was pretty much stressed with all the4 animation and stuff...

Yikes, this thing is nearly a year old. I got the go-ahead to pull this thing out of page 5, though, so... Foregrounds!

In my absence, I managed to finish out Dyna Blade with those Trial Rooms and the overworld encounter room, get one Milky Way Wishes world, and get the complete Revenge of Meta Knight set. Ten sheets in total.

Milky Way Wishes - Floria (World 1)


Some assembly required for the RoMK foregrounds. It was either set it up in pieces or wind up with sheets even more huge than they already are. Fortunately, pretty much every map on the Halberd shares its animated doodads with every other map, altered a bit for indoor and outdoor, so that made ripping it a lot easier than anticipated.

As of now, there's no real order to which I continue my foreground rips. I have a little bit of Evil Spring Breeze Revenge of the King done (Purple Plants, probably going to be my next entry) and one room of Great Cave Offensive that has yet to be put together.
