AA in the corners =/= M&L style. Your AA is average, but your color choice sucks and you just traced the original sprites. Tracing a sprite and coloring it differently doesn't make it different from recoloring.

Also, shade the coin's middle part. It looks really flat right now

As in, accepted to the site? If so I doubt it, they are just minor edits.

Well i can see you use a M&L pallete...
But that ain't enought.
You need to make it look more M&L
You can see the items and see some things that those don't.
For example
The M&L items have some kind of grey pixels around the black pixels.
Your's don't
That's why you should always looks before posting in the street
