get a discount card, congratulations
you can now get everything extremely cheap

ditto

I also go there because for the most part every other store like wal-mart has a shitty selection and the only game trader I know of is the next town over.

The internet is fine as long as you know a good store.

depends on what deals I can get.

You know, things like "Pre-order this and get $20 off!" are nice to get~

Typically I use Amazon for current gen games, although I never buy new release titles. I always wait for the universal price drop.

GameStop is where I go for last gen titles (five dollar PS2 games are awesome,) and sometimes if I find a current gen game there for a low price I'll pick it up.

Wal-Mart because they have that fifteen dollar shelf and my mom works there so I get another discount.

Either what Shawn said or I just look for the cheapest version of the game. Old or New.

Pawn Shops.
They don't know their games.

Selling things like Snes and Nes stuff for a toonie.
N64 for 4 or 5.
And of course last gen and current gen.

EB Games if pre-orders are needed.

Steam mostly
sometimes Goodoldgames
or Game/Gamestation if I happen to see something worth buying while I'm downtown

or nefarious means if the game's wicked expensive and/or really bloody hard to find

Depends which one is the cheapest price, so it could be either Game, Gamestation, Computer Exchange (CeX, I know it can be notorious for games that weren't looked after properly or not working), even supermarkets like ASDA and Morrisons. There was a small shop called Playtime that closed down where it had games £5 cheaper than other places and sometimes had import titles (and listed as such unlike Grainger Games which I find a bit on the dodgy side).

For some games, I use other means of obtaining them.

I usually use Gamestop, however there are older games I want that I can't really find in stores near me anymore, so I'll probably be buying a lot off of Amazon.

Order on Amazon, then download so there's no wait to play.

They only do this to used game to put the games in the cases. New games they generally have in the back. Used games have been open before anyway so I don't even see why you are complaining.

For me I get my games at the Toy vault if it is for the n64 because that it the only place that sells n64 games around here anymore and the rest is gamestop.
