the game was definitely tangible, though whether a CD is "hard" or not is debatable

whether a CD is hard or not, it definitely doesn't have the same hardness as balls.

If we're getting this retentive (and as everyone knows, I am ALL ABOUT BEING RETENTIVE), strictly the CD isn't the game, it's just the media on which the game is stored.

brb dying alone.

BACK ON TOPIC: Playing Sonic 2 again, awww yeah.

I am a big fan of the Clock Tower series, so I've found myself replaying those games a fair bit (mostly their outings on the SNES, PC, and PSX), I also play a little DOOM from time to time in DOSBox. Oh, and pretty much any King's Quest/Space Quest game is something I've played a million times and somehow never get sick of.

And while it's really not "classic", I don't know how many times I've played through the second half of Portal.

You do realise we are talking about classic games here?

No, that would be Crash Team Racing.

Crash Bash was pretty lame.

No, I mean Crash Bash.

Mind you, Crash team racing was pretty cool though

Honestly, anyone who can strike such a flawless contraposto while aiming a gun gets kudos from me, regardless of what sex they are.

i was about to go "zeemort" on all the stupid details that cover has such as the tie figther being off balance, or the turret being outside a trench, or why would you put AT-AT figthing alonside the rebels but that would imply i have a knowledge of desing wich i clearly don't.

I don't necessarily play these games all the time due to the fact that I don't always have the systems hooked up, but the following are all games I'd willingly pick up on the fly for some fun gaming:

-Alien Soldier - 30 bosses, can be beaten in under 2 hours easily, maybe even 1 if you're awesome enough.
-No More Heroes 2 - Fun to play, and has a boss fight mode when I don't want to play through the whole thing
-Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - I STILL play through the whole game just for the fun of it.
-Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - Admittedly, I just beat this last night after picking it up again, but it's easily my favorite of the DS games.
-Donkey Kong Country Series - I love them all.
-Megaman Zero Series - I don't know why I've put off getting the DS collection, especially since I don't own the second one.
-Demon's Souls - So hard. So good.

Also, for the heck of it, games I admittedly haven't played in a number of years but I totally want to and would at any time:

-Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Confession Time: I never beat this without game genie. I haven't played this since I was really little. Want to try for reals.
-Super Mario World - KIND OF like A Link to the Past, but I usually just used Game Genie to mess around. I have beaten this one without it.
-Super Mario 3 - My personal favorite
-Kingdom Hearts 2 - If I was less lazy I'd hook my PS2 up and play through this again, or just beat the final boss again.
-Final Fantasy Tactics - BUT my disc is split in half due to somebody's inconsiderate ass. T_T
-Chrono Trigger - My favorite turn-based RPG
-Final Fantasy VI - What I REALLY want is a badass remake.

Pokemon (online battling) and darkstalkers 3 occasionally. I used to play a few others a while back often after completion but I kinda stopped. Hoping for a Makai Kingdom remake/port because there's not much else to do anymore in it.

Most games I own are single player so I kinda play them 1-2 times and thats it.
