Some random guy I came up with and drew in Photoshop. Planning on expanding the sheet, but I'd like some C+C on what I've got by now.

Just felt like it, idk why xD I wonder it's just the style.

Trying to avoid C+C by saying that it's the sprite's style isn't cool.

Your sprite has a contradicting shading. Also, his animations are choppy and weird (he's even not rising his leg up when walking!)

Maybe he's doing the face the screen shuffle?
A lot of work needs to be done here.
