Oh, yeah, the only bit that's really anywhere near finalised is the skin. I try to be procedural :V
But I'll keep that in mind; Chris2balls mentioned the eyes looking weird too, so I'm definitely gonna shrink them and fix them up; the guy who I'm drawing has pretty dark eyes so I think I read the iris as too big Very Sad
EXCUSES EXCUSES. I'll fix it :V

I'm not sure I agree that they're too close together! There's at least the width of an eye between them, which is the ideal spacing iirc.
I might try moving them though, can't hurt to try at least c:

You don't HAVE to move the eyes, it could be the irises that might only be the problem
(Don't do anything to the nose, I like that part the most :])

You use Sai, right?
What brush are you using for those lines? I can't say I've experimented much, so it might be something really obvious, but I've been trying to get a chalkyish brush like that for a little while. The crayon brush isn't dense enough :C

I think I used the noise brush. Either that or it was spread, but I don't remember spread being quite as chalky. I just made sure to make the size kinda small because otherwise the lines fan out a little much.
