So...since the last post in this thread, they've revealed

Gilgamesh, Laguna, Yuna, Prishe, and Vaan. () Aerith appears as an Assist-only character if you buy the demo, apparently.

So far the only games not revealed to have new characters are VI and IX. I've not played IX, but if VI doesn't get any new characters I'll be very sad. They've announced that there won't be any new characters from I through III, as well.

Your character levels from Dissidia can be brought over to the sequel, I've heard. And you get a special accessory.

both the "ff11" characters (i imigne they are in rows) don't even exist in ff11. that's just a generic paladin and the bottom one isnt even a taru.

Yeah it's really weird that those two specifically would be excluded from new characters since they seem to be the ones with the biggest cult followings for each. Hopefully they just didn't have those characters that far along when they decided to work on the demo or something, because I'd be really disappointed if neither game got one (especially VI)
