please elaborate.
The shape and style of the fans is almost exactly the same, as well as the style of the bombs with the parachutes. Both Wing Fortress and Flying Battery have elements from that stage in Stryder (I think it's the second one).

In Wind Waker, Link rides a boat over water.
In WaveRace, you have to drive similarly shaped vehicles over water.
I'm serious guys. They have similar elements.

i'm pretty sure rokkan could explain better than me how off that statement is. unless you were judging the game by its artwork(because both gameplays have nothing in common) rather than particular objects and the way they're shaded, then you're just nitpicking trying to dig loopholes out of nowhere. :/

I think he's pretending to be a fucking retard by saying just because I posted that in a thread in the most inactive forum of the board six months ago i cannot post it here
idk im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's just joking
yes i literally want you to be banned because you posted an unfunny old joke unrelated to the thread at all that is exactly it
dunno what got into your head that you thought that i was either joking or exaggerating at any point

isnt like you're going to say that Terminator 4's ending is a rip off from contra
or that Mr.X in that very first screenshot you posted sits in the exact same way Rugal does on his throne...
That's somewhat the point. Finding similarities between games isn't very hard, and there are cases, like Sonic & Strider, where one thing was almost certainly influenced by the other. what or how does stryder influences sonic.
please elaborate.
The Sky Chase section is really similar to that section in Strider in which you have to be over a plane, they don't control the same but you can clearly see some really big similarities. The Wing Fortress is also pretty similar to the giant airship in Strider too, not to mention the parachute bombs and the fans. Gameplay-wise, they both use a lot the concept of your movements and actions being directly influenced by momentum, which is why Oshima/Yasuhara looked into it as a reference to see how that exactly works in a game.

In mvc2, there are infinite combos that capcom does not tell you about.
In sf2, combos and crossups were a glitch.
In mario, you can run and jump.
In this forum, you can post.

Topic revival time. You guys remember the music in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword trailer from the GDC earlier this year?
This is that trailer:
What if we reverse that background theme?

Sounds familiar doesn't it? If you don't get it:
It's Zelda's Lullaby/Theme from Ocarina of Time.
