In before "vipershark has terrible taste" comments, but the game really wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.
Of course, Pelloni is still a huge dickface.

I'd likee to see what comes of this.
A cheaper alternative to the GP2X Wiz?
I wouldn't mind carrying around a dedicated emulation/music handheld, if it's only 10 bucks.
Seeing as how I don't have a PSP and the DS Emulation scene is basically dead, there's no real alternative for roms on the go.

I never played it, but it sounded to be more... mediocre than anything else.
It's like he pulled some kind of anti-molyneux.

I'd also be all for the thing if it was practical and it was capable of heavy-scale emulation, but I doubt it'll be capable of downloading and playing ROMs entirely :<

see, stores kind of need to make money to stay in business

though mail order would work it wouldn't have the same effect, not many gamers are that into the indie scene to find this. Being given away with other shit could potentially expand the audience though. Also he had better change that awful hardware design.

and "more powerful than the one with 2 screens"? bull-fucking-shit. also ratings disabled for the video, heh

From what I gathered on the trailer, it's gonna be sold online only.

Even still, it costs money for the circuit board, the casings, and the LCD display. I HIGHLY doubt that all that can run under ten bucks not including batteries (I'm giving benefit of the doubt and assumming it's AA-based). And if it can't make profit, then a company would have to either be retarded or have too much money to throw around to consider such a thing.

Pffft, I thought his first publicity stunt flopped hard enough for no one to give a damn anymore.

There was a... balance of honest (mediocre) effort, and deliberate acting out to generate attention; but any combination of either of those things made him out to be a bit of an idiot.
This is no different. The idea to produce hardware may have been a legitimate idea of his; but this whole thing just smacks of 'attention-seeking hoax'. Fool me once, Bob.
Specs 'n' Headphones has been revamped! Check it, yo.

considering that's 90$ and it can play pretty much anything, that's the best deal anyone can get.

you can emulate genesis on it but I think you need to download something for it.

I could be wrong though.

Ohhh, the Dingo.

There's built-in emulation for the stuff Metaru listed, but a majority of the other emulators (including Genesis) are homebrew downloads.

I'm only really interested in that thing if it supports N64 emulation. I've looked into it a while ago but I couldn't find good information on whether its homebrews run N64 or not.

I have trouble seeing any of this Bob's Game stuff as anything but a joke/hoax/trolling, this nD thing isn't really any different. Regardless of whatever amount of this is "real" it's still idiotic. Smile

The n64 at most needs A, B, R and Z. the C buttons were just a gimmick for the camera most of the time. barely any games really forced you to use them, besides both Zelda games.

hell, you can play Mario 64 with just the A and Z buttons and the analog.

but hey, i'd really act surprised if this is nothing but a stunt. that video doesnt even shows a prototype or anything. how does people even considers this for anything goes beyond me.
