TSR PokeDex Project
"Gremlin is an English folkloric creature, commonly depicted as mischievous and mechanically oriented, with a specific interest in aircraft. They are reputedly mischievously inclined to damage or dismantle machinery."

Maybe it isn't a gremlin but it sure does have great similarities.

In the same way that mice and rats are both rodents, it's a vague similarity.

Oh wait, we had 4 of those within 10 pokemon of each other, let alone in another generation. A gremlin pokemon will be fine.

Well we'll just have to see what the people want.

There's no guarantee that all suggestions will make it in. I have a huge list of suggestions on the first page and we need to narrow them down.

I totally thought I was going to see Gizmo. Sad

On a side note, anyone up for a Mexican Walking Fish-based pokemon?
I may make some sort of concept of one.

Being mechanically oriented in this case means he'd be capable of competently messing with the machinery, not possessing it.

Anyways, that aside, What about a pokemon based off of the Flatwoods monster, or Mothman?

Drakocat suggested the Chupacabra. Maybe we shouldn't have too many cryptids... I don't know.

It's fine by me guys! ^^

Chupacabra is one of the most recognizable cryptid. I think your suggestion is really good.

what about a gineau pig for the new rodent.

I had suggested it before he had, and, if I'm correct, you rejected it at first (though it was the most plausible of the trio that I had suggested. In hindsight, Poké-Slendy was a bad idea). He just improved on my idea. Also, Mothman is among the more well-known cryptids (It's been sighted far from its original location, such as, most infamously, near the Twin Towers shortly before 9/11).

Anyways, I've come up with a color scheme for the Chupacabra Pokémon:

Normal: Green Skin, Tan belly, yellow claws/back spines, red eyes and tounge, and yellow eye rings and "pupils".

Shiny: Purple skin, reddish orange belly, light green claws/back spines, blue eyes and tounge, and light green eye rings and "pupils".

And about matt#'s guinea pig idea, we could have it evolve into the capybara that's been suggested.

As for the seasonal Pokémon, I say we do the vegetation rabbit. Here's what I would suggest

Spring: cherry blossom rabbit
Summer: bush rabbit
Fall: pumpkin jackalope
Winter: misteltoe rabbit

Hm you did suggest the Chupacabra? I'm sorry about that. I must've overlooked it.

Anyway, for the new rodent I'd be interested in some new sketches guys.

Well, before deciding fully on anything, I just want to remind everyone that my mistletoe did plan to have an evolution. I still need to decide on looks, but I have already decided on poinsettia for the base.
Thanked by:
Yes I actually liked that idea. Poinsettias and Mistletoes are the two big Christmas plants next to Christmas Trees.

Thanked by:
I'm making some rough sketches of ideas that I thought up, I'll post them soon
They are going to be based on:
Angora Rabbits
Wanyūdō
Power Socket
And maybe some others if I can think of any

Hey guys,
I'm new to TSR, but I'm not new to art, and I'm experimenting with different sorts.
I wanted to join this project because it seemed interesting and a lot of creative space is given.

I was thinking of a Pokemon that would be two staged and Bug/Fighting. The first stage would be a simple Bug Type (with some fighting type features), resembling a scorpion. The second stage would be more human-like, standing on two legs. It would still have a scorpion tail, but it would have arms to fight with.

Any thoughts?
