Guess the game already leaked in Brazil?
Regardless, here's some (lo-fi) footage of Smoke, including his awesome fatality. And his AWESOME X-Ray move.

HEY GUYS JUST WANNA LET YOU KNOW MK9 IS OUT IN 5 DAYS
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO GIVE AN HONORABLE MENTION TO THE FACT THAT THIS IS THE FIRST FIGHTING GAME IN YEARS THAT HASN'T BEEN COMPLETELY SPOILED BY THE INTERNET

Oh, and you mean like how we know how said character plays and have seen actual footage of him in action, including his special moves, X-Ray move, and his fatality?
OH WAIT. WE DON'T.

Beh, it's likely that character either plays as similar characters or as the original.

And what makes you think that? Cyber Smoke and Human Smoke play nothing like each other. Plus everybody in this game seems to have lots of gameplay "originality," so to speak. No one character plays like the other-- even the "sprite clone" ninjas.
This isn't Street Fighter we're talking about here. Thanked by: Ton

Alright, this game is awesome. My expectations have been far succeeded, and they were high to begin with.
It is SO MUCH FUN.

I
really, really want to like this game. But I can say I didn't enjoy the demo much. I'm probably going to end up renting it soon, give it another chance with the rest of the cast. Hopefully my thoughts on this will change.

MK is essentially a more fast-paced Street Fighter. You have to play it super precisely to pull off some of the more complicated combos. If you play it like MvC (rapid button pressing [not mashing]), you'll quickly find that you'll be going nowhere.
