Pacman: The Platformer

If I may...
Pacman looks like an edited forum smiley. I know he's not, but the resemblance still remains.

That's because the eyes are spaced far a part when Pac-Man's eyes are usually close together.

love these.
man, nostalgia.

only advice is for sprites this small, it'd be amazing to make the animation super smooth.

They look neat sprite-wise, but I've never really liked the limbs on Pacman.

also I got back to Colorado where I have access to a Windows for Paint so i'll be doing that soon

I will take a closer look at that for more inspiration though

it had some problems, maybe it's my computer but idk

both Pixen and another one had palette-saving issues

Paintbrush works, it's not not as good as Paint

I have used the free version of Acorn for about a year now. Being a Mac user, I was never comfortable with Pixen or paint. But I wanted something simple that allowed me to effectively work at the pixel level. Acorn has done a fantastic job at aiding me in pixeling! The controls are simple like Paint, but can be customized to be much more like a Photoshop. Why not give it a try?

Also, Acorn just recently got an update, so there may no longer be a free version available. Now there may only be a trial version. Either way, I'd recommend you play with it for a while.

Mostly because I always wanted him to be recognized as a character and break out of that "just an arcade game" identity, and maybe evolve like Mario did.

But that's just me. This is about you. And those images are not working for me...

it has been done already...?

I love how that guy in the video is like "That wasn't in the original game!"

It's like saying "Mario's in space! That wasn't in the original game!" because you know video game characters are limited to do only one thing based on their first appearance.

And no one cares about your cat.
