His name is Mithy.



One version with his cape and one without.

I know he looks like Mighty but he is my custom character from my comic series. He is a funny and quirky evil clone of Mighty who utilizes dark energy and loves being a bad guy (but he's not really evil, he won't kill anyone) and food. He has his own lovable attitude (and did I mention he rides a jet motorcycle).

Are recolours / minor edits really... allowed as references?
I know they're frowned on as sprites but idk for personal characters.

They said I could've used Mighty if I were to edit his design a little but I didn't want to.

Mithy is still my made up character even if he looks similar and is a different character, not intended to be a Mighty edit.

Actually, I just found Omega's ref. and it's just a Toad edit, but I'm sure it's special to him.

My character on the other hand has a very detailed and complex story and is very special to me too. Not that anyone cares but I'll just quote myself from a PM I sent to a friend earlier:

NO. NO. NO. HE IS NOT A MIGHTY EDIT HE IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CHARACTER WITH A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSONALITY. ...Erm, yeah, I'm sorry to come off sounding mean but he really isn't just a Mighty edit. He is in fact the "opposite" of Mighty. Different traits, lifestyle, everything.

I just need to enforce that he isn't an edit even though his design looks it. He's an artificial Bomberman created from a cloning machine using Mighty's DNA and genes and brain cells and stuff with a one of a kind dark energy mixed into his DNA giving him tons of benefits. It's a really cool story actually. He is actually exactly the same as Mighty and can perfectly mimic his voice and knows all his memories and everything, but due to the immense power of the dark energy in his blood stream it caused him to turn purple instead of pink and give him what a like to call "a warped sense of taste and smell", meaning something that smells bad smells good to him, and he can eat rotten and poisonous food and it does him no harm because the poison in his body absorbs everything, even lethal liquids, and also allows his body to heal from wounds.

I just wanted to get it out there that he's nothing like those cheap Sonic edits and stuff.
