I know you guys haven't heard from me in awhile (formally Japanese Tree Frog), and thats because I really just didn't have time for spriting. Every time I tried I would fail, but I think I'm back in my "groove".

Pretty good. The eyes are a little creepy though. I'd alter them so they fit the style more.

The left side of his beard shouldn't show as much.

His feet look big. Maybe take off the bottom outlines, since that's what they do in most games anyway.

All in all,pretty good, it's safe to say you've improved, as I remember I couldn't stand to look at your sprites on PTold (this is a compliment, k).

You know I don't have a problem with the eyes anymore. It was the hat that bugged me and you fixed that. Lookin' good!

I say black. Just because the blue is hardly recognizable and when you do see it, it makes Mario looks possessed.
