Happy birthday, Techokami! Everything you rip is sheer madness. Big Grin

(Thought I'd do it in your thread since there's no place else to do it)

Looks like Sparkster 2.

.........................fucking Konami
There's two Sparkster games: one for the SNES (which is actualy a non-canon retelling of Rocket Knight Adventures for the Genesis), and one for the Genesis (which is the true sequel of Rocket Knight Adventures for the Genesis). This is the latter of these two. There is no such thing as Sparkster 2, stop making shit up.

Alternatively: read the OP! I mark explicitly what console the game is for in it.

Derp. No idea why I said "Sparkster 2". What I meant to say was "Rocket Knight Adventures 2" (or "Sparkster").

*goes back and edits post*

Well, I've officially made myself look like an idiot today.

another thing about the series, Rocket Knight (for Xbox live/PSN/Steam) follows the Genesis titles as well.
as it officially introduces the wolves into the storyline, and brings back the pigs.

anyways. your tile rips are excellent. if only we could get Knuckles Chaotix tiles. the graphics are amazingly nice. Tongue

I'd love to make proper Chaotix tile rips! I just need to figure out how metatiles, graphics, and palettes are stored in RAM for this 32x game (I've never done 32x before)

That's for sprites, not tiles
EDIT: before Retro went down I was able to see the list of palettes, tiles, mappings for Chaotix, and let me just say... I don't think it's feasible. The graphics change between certain acts, there are 5 acts per level, and on TOP of all this are 4 different palettes! This means that, in order to fully and correctly rip the levels from Chaotix, it would require capturing 120 different states of the game. It would be much easier if I just worked from the ROM, but is there a KENS port for PHP available? No. So I can't write a script that works directly on the ROM without first porting some decompressors, something I'm currently not in the mood for.

So, a friend of mine was looking for badnik rips from Sonic Triple Trouble... of which there really were none. So I promised to make such a sheet. After procrastinating about for *ahem* a month Rolleyes I finally got it done.

Speed rip time!
For mobile phones, it's a not-Sonic game from South America...

It took longer to make the icons and this post than it did to make this rip. Therefore I really don't care about how it is used.

Now for something I DO care about: a good chunk of my personal stash! Very Sad
I'd rather not get into the dramas, so I present some not-quite-as-refined tileset rips from Tiny Toons Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure for the SEGA Genesis:

This SHOULD be, afaik, the last of the base covering I need to be doing. It's also more painful to give these out than the Buster rips... it's Socket: Time Dominator for the SEGA Genesis.

This is all most excellent.

Also I was wondering if you were ever going to get back to Sonic Unleashed Mobile. I'd like to see what animations Eggman has.

It was too much work to release anything. Sorry.

I'd give it a shot myself if I knew what bloody emulator to use. All the mobile phone emulators I try tend to give errors without actually initializing the game. Care to inform me through PM?
