Can anyone, ANYONE in this forum even get it right? Apparently not! Oh no no! Because apparently most of you are too thick to listen to it. There are one or two of you who sprite in actual ZX style and not some sort of perversion thereof, but you are an exception and have the full right to ignore me.
And the worst part? The worst part is that you think you are right. "I don't like light shades because I want my sprites to be dark and broody and all cool!" Well genius, ZX style is a style that uses vibrant colours and bright highlights. Look at every. Single. Sprite. In that style. Does any of them even REMOTELY look like your sprites? No! If you don't like that, then stop spriting in that style and choose some other one instead of keeping to give ZX a bad name.
I know you now hate me and consider me a dick or whatever else you want to call me. But I've said it more than enough and the nice tour doesn't work at all. I doubt the harsh tour will work either, because you obviously will stubbornly continue to ignore me and make the same mistakes over and over again, thinking you are in your perfect right to do so.
I can tell you that I'm not too easily pissed off. I mean, I didn't lash out at Zyros at all yet, for example. But you guys somehow manage to really make my blood boil enough to make agressive and probably not too well thought out posts like this one.
Also, DZ, the colours of your sprite are also horrible and using them as an example for anything concerning ZX style should be a bannable offense. Just a FYI.[/COLOR]
Can't crit somethin' that doesn't have anything too glaring to point out. Most people got riled up because you seemed to imply that you were trying to make Samus in ZX style. Well, it's beside the point.
And ignore that emosexual bit, this time. I was trying to find a good insult to discourage you from ... doing bad things!!!
Its okay, but you're being a huge fucking arrogant douche who really doesn't deserve such arrogance so I won't even bother commenting on the sprite other then its not as good as you think it is.

It seems elitest when you're taking crit as an attack on yourself.
You have a right to not follow any and all advice given, but you've also been told that minor edits/recolors are pretty lame here. You've been told that your Z-F model just looks like a modified Z model instead of the Z-F model you're going for. If you're not wanting to modify Z-F anymore that's your decision, but it just makes you look bad.
Just keep practicing, get any and all advice/criticism you can, and don't give in so easily. Anything is always possible with a little hard work and a lot of time. Also again: Criticism is not an attack on yourself so that's no reason to flame people who give their opinions to you.

The shading on yous sprites look pillowy and all messy. (and has a huge air hump. I know it's MMZ style, but you could at least modify a bit so it won't look ugly like that >_>)
And the mugshots are really bad. The changes you've made are so poorly executed that it's evident. I mean, there's no proper AA, you colored his eye white to make him look scared, his bandana screams MS Paint colors, his tear looks like a crappy makeout and his shading on his face looks blocky as hell.
