Ahaha Nemesis looks so fun. I couldn't stop laughing when he threw Hulk around with his tentacles
But Firebrand is still my favorite newcomer so far.

So, Tokyo Game Show kicks off next week and UMvC3 is definitely making a showing, and there have been "my uncle niitsuma told me"-level rumors that four new characters will be revealed: Wright, Raccoon, Iron Fist, and Vergil.
Also: since I can't seem to find a list of changes so far, I'd thought I'd just post the changes I know of, and see if anyone else who cares as much as I do (nobody) could fill in a few blanks (also i have like three hours to kill before my next class) ok here i go
AKUMA- [-]Less health.
[-]Tatsu no longer causes a knockdown. Tatsu assist has been nerfed significantly.
AMATERASU- [+]Can cycle through her weapons in midair.
[-]Can no longer block out of her airdash.
ARTHUR- [+]Increased health.
[+]Lance Toss fires three lances, up from two.
CAP. AMERICA- [+]Air L Shield Slash can OTG, I think????
[+]Double jump.
CHRIS- [+?]Gun Fire can be cancelled into other specials.
CHUN-LI- [+]New move that looks like her EX Spinning Bird Kick.
CRIMSON VIPER- [+]New move. Takes after Cyclops' Optic Blast from MVC2.
[-]Apparently, can't cancel medium TK into EX TK.
DANTE- [+]Devil Trigger buffs, including a triple jump. Can't remember the other ones.
[+]His "moves-within-moves" are easier to do. Rather than inputting the same command twice, you simply double tap the button.
[-]Certain combos are hard to do, due to tons of little changes in his specials.
DEADPOOL- [+]Trigger Happy and Ninja Gift recover slightly faster. Fuck Deadpool.
[-]His voice is still in the game.
DOOM- [+]Doom's j.H, the laser pistol, shoots faster.
[+]Doom's j.S, Foot Dive, causes a ground bounce. What the fuck.
[+]Photon Array does more damage as you mash buttons.
DORMAMMU- [+]Can charge up and release spells in midair.
[-]Flame Carpet OTG knocks characters further away. Much harder to combo off of.
FELICIA- [+]Can Delta Kick in midair. Hopefully does wonders for her mobility.
HAGGAR- [+]c.H causes a hard knockdown.
[-]Lariat assist lost its invincibilty.
HSEIN-KO- [+/-]hahahahaha
[+/-]HAHAHAHAHAHA
HULK- [+]s.H now gives Hulk three hits of armor, up from one.
[+]New move that may work like C. Viper's Focus Attack. Causes a wallbounce.
[-]Recovery on s.H is slower. Block and punish. Hard.
[-]His Gamma Wave xx Gamma Crush corner combo is tighter.
IRON MAN- [-]Double jump is gone.
Air moves can be dash cancelled.
JILL- Nothing I know of.
MAGNETO- [-]His dumb, long-ass air loop is still in the game, but harder to pull off. Can only be done in the corner.
[-]Disruptor is slower.
[-]Length of time you're trapped by Mag's throw has been reduced.
[+]New move, done with SRK+S or BSRK+S. Pushes and pulls other players.
MODOK- [+]Air moves can be dash cancelled.
MORRIGAN- [+]New fireball that leeches meter from the enemy. Unknown if the effect is doubled with her Mirror Image, but likely.
PHOENIX- [-]Less health.
[-]Limited to performing one action in the air. Can no longer throw fireballs and then teleport behind you.
RYU- [+]A completely different character.
[+]New "Denjin Mode" Hyper that enhances Ryu's moves and other hyper combos.
[+]New "supersonic" fireball that moves too fast to be seen. Causes a wall bounce.
[+]New move that causes Ryu to rapid fire Hadokens. Doesn't look terribly useful.
[+]New Shoryuken move that fires a projectile straight up. I'm told it works like some move Cyclops had in MVC2.
[+]Denjin-powered Shinkuu Hadoken now bounces off walls.
[+]Denjin-powered Shinkuu Tastumaki is significantly larger.
SENTINEL- [-]Slightly less health.
[-]Hyper Sentinel Force won't connect after Rocket Punch OTG anymore.
SHE-HULK- [+]New move. She-Hulk swings a lamppost. Causes a wallbounce. Very slow.
[-]Her slide is slower and shorter.
[+]AIRDASH. Doesn't look to travel very fast or far. Everyone crying about it is a massive child.
[-]Her BnB relaunch combo is tighter.
[-]TAC relaunch is gone.
SHUMA-GORATH- [+]Shuma's normal grab drains meter as well as health.
SPENCER- [+]Death from Above from BIOCOM2009. Dives straight down, hits OTG.
SPIDER-MAN- [+]Crawler Assault does more damage with mashing.
[+]Webs travel faster.
[+]Specials can all be cancelled now.
STORM- [+]Has a wind-based version of Mag's push/pull move. Unknown if there's a difference between the two.
[-]Can't call assists while floating.
[-]Some normals can't connect after jump cancelling cr.H.
SUPER-SKRULL
TASKMASTER- [+]New move: Stabs, then shoots. Causes a knockdown. Is comboable.
THOR- Nothing yet. Eat shit, Thor.
TRISH- [+]Midair Max Voltage can be followed up.
[+]Peekaboo, Hopscotch, and Low Voltage are all faster.
[+]Peekaboo assist is faster.
TRON BONNE- [-]Gustaff Fire assist lost its invincibilty.
[-]Tron's j.H knocks characters further back, is much harder to follow up.
[+]Bandit Boulder can be cancelled.
Servbot Launcher can now be fired three times.
VIEWTIFUL JOE- [+]Dodge move. Can be followed up.
WESKER- [-]Significantly less health.
WOLVERINE- [+]SWISS CHEESE, acts as Wolverine's own Lightning Legs. Performed by mashing buttons, a Wolverine player's greatest vice.
[-]Berserker Slash is slower and less invincible.
[-]Less speed overall, I think.
X-23- [+]Talon Dive beats out most air moves.
ZERO- [-]Max Buster no longer causes a hard knockdown.
[+]Can now cancel into a Max Buster shot.

I skipped out on this the first time as my Bro got it so I just sponged off his copy. It's nice to see Firebrand in it , but still no classic Megaman or Venom? Still leaves me pretty sour. My old team was Megaman, Venom and Amingo so it's kinda lame how they're all gone (true Amingo had no chance in hell of coming back but the other 2 I thought was dead certs).
And even after playing MvC 3 for some hours I still found myself preferring the 6 button layout over this newer 4 button one. Capcom also seems to be REALLY skimpy when it comes to content as well. I mean yes there's lots of characters but Mortal Kombat felt like a much more fleshed out game and as far as I'm aware there isn't more to this game in terms of things to do.

Yeah you should be pretty used to Capcom shafting people, I mean it's what they do!
I also seriously doubt if anyone didn't see this coming.
Who are they shafting? The people who wanted to pay $60 separately for 12 new characters and still not get the rebalancing, new moves for the returning cast, and gameplay mechanic updates?
Or the people that don't mind paying $40 for 12 new characters plus rebalancing, new moves for the returning cast, and gameplay mechanics updates?
But its so wrong that Nintendo are releasing an attachment that will improve their system?
