[10/23/2011 11:51:48 PM] Vipershark: there was a bump... thing on my foot
[10/23/2011 11:51:53 PM] Vipershark: my mom said it was a corn
[10/23/2011 11:51:59 PM] Vipershark: my work shoes messed my foot up
[10/23/2011 11:52:16 PM] Vipershark: anyway so i had to use this... rock thing... to sand it down and then put acid on it to eat away the excess skin
[10/23/2011 11:52:35 PM] Vipershark: apparently last time i used the acid it made the skin thinner than usual and when i used the rock thing to wet-sand my foot this time it broke through and started bleeding
[10/23/2011 11:52:44 PM] Vipershark: it doesn't hurt but there's a ton of blood, ahaha

Well you don't seem too panicked about it, so that's a good start, blood is nice and red and liquid so that's also good, from the looks of your wrinkly peeling toes in the background your feet aren't in great condition though, and it sounds like you've effectively just worn through the skin.

There's a lot of blood in your feet, so it will bleed a lot, it'll probably be slow to heal too, since you walk on it and all, just pack it and bandage it as well as you can, and in future avoid putting acid on your feet.
No seriously, I'm not being facetious, using acids to treat corns and callouses is a bad idea generally, better to just soak your feet and use a pumice stone or equivalent.
At worst a doctor will use liquid nitrogen to freeze it and kill it rather than burn it off with acid, because acid is acid.

Oh, and I doubt I have to say it, but obviously try to keep your shoes off as much as possible, that should be the general rule actually, there's no reason to be wearing shoes while you bum around the house anyway.
Same thing with socks, keep 'em off when you can, not too practical around this time of year but still.

(look after your feet young man, seriously, they're important.)

(the wrinkly-ness is because i had that particular foot soaking in water for about 30-45 minutes to loosen up the callus so i think it's okay. :p as fas ar the peeling, i'm not sure what part you're referring to but my foot isn't peeling or anything)

as far as the rest of that, will do

Ah, ok, if they're wrinkled from soaking that's fine, for some reason I just assumed it was from being on your feet for a long time (I know a bunch of ex-military dudes and they'll tell you that if your feet are wrinkling in your boots, trenchfoot isn't far away), thought I could see some skin peeling on your toes there too, but it's not in the best of focus so I could easily be wrong, ultimately you know your feet way more personally than I do.

I should also add, if you happen to have access to some salts, that is like magic for a footbath, oh, and I realize how counter-intuitive it is, but soaking your injured foot using salts doesn't hurt, if it does sting at all you used way too much salt.
And don't take this as a dig at your hygiene or anything, but if you've got an open wound on the bottom of your foot it's important to keep it clean, feet sweat a lot, it's just what they do, add to that the obvious need to wear shoes and you've got the perfect environment for a wound to get nasty, so just try your best to keep it clean, shouldn't really take any extra effort for most people, but it's worth putting out there anyway.

So apparently Mom and I can't call anyone on our cell phones anymore. We can receive calls, but when I try it says WELCOME TO VERIZON NETWORK, THE NUMBER YOU HAVE REACHED IS NOT AVAILABLE blah blah, and Mom says that my aunt's cell phone works just fine and we're all on the same plan. She can't call Mommy to have her do something about it, either. AND Mom asked me to call my cousin Stacey yesterday and wish her happy birthday and couldn't even do that after I added her to my contacts. Mom felt bad because she always calls Mom on her birthday, and she couldn't call Stacey on hers.

And on top of that I'm a bit concerned about Mommy getting here too late and I won't have time to get ready for my doctor appointment at 3:45 PM tomorrow. It wouldn't be a problem except that my hair has become a crappy mess because I kept forgetting to brush it for I dunno how long so Mom has to brush it out again for the 1,000,000th time and that takes hours and I also need to bathe which also takes a while. I know Mommy needs to sleep after working all night last night but this happens almost all the time. We make plans a bit too soon, and I can't get ready in time resulting in me rushing and I hate that.

Although I know that she'll do anything possible to make sure I get there, I'm just a bit uneasy about it right now. Guess I'll see what happens.

Aw really?
Recently a girl on OKCupid stopped messaging me because for some reason I decided after three messages it was a good time to make jokes about a child's author having also written erotica.
I don't know what possessed me. I mean, it was related to the current conversation at least but why. why would I do that.

Yeeaahh, something totally fixable right?

But I know what you mean sooo much. To us, it's just something interesting and funny that we think someone else will find interesting, and it just blows up in our face :F
I did something similar at a concert back in July. We were standing outside waiting for Obscura to set up and people were talking about Ghost, and ho wthey'd be over in America for the first time ever, and I just interjected myself in saying "I KNOW IT'S LIKE THE BEST THING EVER" And two girls just said, "Uhh..No it's not"

I WAS EXCITED FOR A BAND I LIKE, SUE ME FOR BEING HAPPY ABOUT SEEING THEM.
