razer carcharias headset mic barely works

I've gotten the headset same time I got my computer late august, It was working fine up until a few games ago when I found out my voice wouldn't transmit into the game.

To be honest, i think it has to do with the wiring, I am not sure. but I want to see if it's really the fault of the headset or if it's just that my new PC is shit when it comes to handling microphones.

Best way to test is to just get another microphone and try that out, and if you can, try another computer with the Razer headset.
Swap out the things that might be wrong, and determine the cause.

If another mic works, then it's your headset. If the headset then works in another computer, it's you computer being configured oddly with that headset or something...

I've had a lot of problems with Razer's sound equipment so I wouldn't doubt it's the headset itself causing the issue.

But yeah, if possible try it on another computer, like Dazz said. It it's borked then I would recommend getting another brand of headset if you choose to buy another gaming one.
