I know they are but they are in example : s_sonic.gno. The model is there but the tools to extract it aren't public

The Unleashed textures are brighter then the ones from Generations.

is it just me or do all the sonic charecters look the same? like in shape wise... is it just a design or does the shape play into the gameplay? because not all of the sonic charecters roll into balls do they?

They use the some model and mapping but the textures vary for every game except Sonic Next Gen and the Dreamcast era. They use different models.

i ment the over all shape of the charecters...like alot of them are different animals yet they all have the same body structure....so much that it's hard for me to tell what exactly kinda animal it's suposed to be. one of them is suposed to be a bat but it looks more like a succubus/moogle thing. another just looks like a red hedgehog with dreadlocks...they all seem to have the same base.

true the classic ones are different from the new ones but.

The new ones dont really look like the actual animals anymore btw Knuckles insn't an hedgehog with dreadlocks, its and echidna

I know knucles is'nt a hedgehog anymore but when I first saw him I assumed he was some kinda red hedgehog.

Either way this guy isn't coming back. Because It's impossible to rip these games right now. The only way is 3D Ripper dx or any other 3d printscreen program.
