AVP 2010 models is now back!

You wouldn't know it. We just don't usually get submissions that are over 30MB in size, so there wasn't any real reason to say anything about it until now in this thread.

Peardian just can't get to these until we can upload bigger files, which is unfortunate.

I don't think he wants the models re-sized. I think it would be better to keep working on them like you are, and we'll figure something out.

Sorry, changing the physical size of the model won't actually change the file size. Even if it were shrunk down to the size of a shoe, it will still have the same number of polygons and the same textures. Don't worry about it, though. The models are perfectly fine as it is. They'll just have to sit tight until I have a way around the limit.

it's just that i thought i had downloaded some textures and sprites that were in huge zips from this site back when i used to do 2D animation

I dont understand what you are trying to say.... Anyway It would be a shame if these characters needed to be split in multiple parts. That size limit has always been annoying people who uploaded textures. And now its bugging the models. TIME FOR CHANGE!

so true...and also when you separate a model into parts, there is always a chance the model won't be in the right place when you try to import all the peices into the program of your choice...i had to cut the inner mouth out of the xenomorph model and attatch the trolphie version so that I could have a separated version that could strike out when I rigged it to.

there is this mlp 3d model kit on deviantart and some of the models's parts are the wrong size when you try to import them...it took me weeks to convert them all to MMD because i had to rearange ever piece everytime i loaded one.

okay i just found a lot of models that should be in the size limit and unused models!!!
i found a red xenomorph (a unused model)
and some other stuff
i will get some up soon

red xenomorph? is it a texture variant or a mesh variant as well?
if it's just texture you can always just put it in the model with the normal texture.
or is it a new model completely? is it all red or is it like blood splattered?....a red xenomorph just sounds odd.
