Earlier I made a request to make Funky kong but I couldn't get the right shape so I am unable to help with anybody, because I am a useless spriter.

Nice Mallow I like the shading effect that makes him look puffy But also, I'd shorten his legs (when they are in front of him) for the front and back poses by a pixel or two, and change his arms, front and back. I'm a beginner too, so hang in there Oh, and to answer your question, I'm pretty sure the human characters only need a 2 pixel gap between the legs (If you look at Dedede, He has a bigger gap, and I'm sure other characters have it too) I did Dedede walking. Proud of the one on the right, but the one on the left....... looks like he's dancin'

Here is wolf. It was hard to do the head in side poses so I modeled it after fox's head.

If you make his standing sprites' feet skinnier or his walking sprites' feet wider (only needed when he's walking towards or away, not sideways) it'd look more consistent. I'd also increase the contrast in the shading on his upper body (though that may or may not be consistent with the style). (10-30-2008, 05:43 PM)YellowWollywog Wrote: I did Dedede walking. The problem is that his arms are moving in the opposite direction they should be relative to his feet. When you walk, when your right foot moves forward, your right arm moves backward in order to keep yourself balanced; it doesn't move forward with your foot. You've made it so that his right arm moves forward with his right foot; that's why it looks weird (the left sprite has the same problem, but the fact that he's holding his hammer masks it).
Hey I was wondering since I am making a Game using Gmaker and I need some sprites for my game to actually make the proper vesion, I was wondering if I coud use the template of the sprite so I don't have to use the Actual RSE overworlds as a base because I have already done some testing using the DK and Mario Sprites. and They go Perfectly well with the style game I am making.
If I do get permission I will make sure that Full credit to the template will be given and I will make my own sprites and then eventually make a Sprite Project so I can get some NPCs make. I will also soon be recruiting Scripters because I suck at that kind of thing. Unless I then of course decide to find how to write my own on the Internet. My Game is a Super Smash Bros Game but I dont want anybody to think that I am copying you In anyway. as soon as I manage to finish a demo with the first level I will upload it so you can play it. and Leave me your comments.
