i'd like to sugest doing a combo animation with all your attacks(like the ones i do), just to check if they all connect properly between each other.

Yeah, I was thinking about that when I was going through with the current set.
Like I said, gonna refine, I'll be sure to fix that (kind of wanted to keep some defining features of the original character during the transition, though, otherwise I'd just be doing a Peacock recolor :V )

I promise I'll get to work sometime soon, but as a suggestion: can we put the finished sheets on the OP so we can use them as references?
Also, do the assists have to be original characters, or can they be other game characters? (I was thinking Mr. Saturn acting like Resetti from Brawl.)

Just noticed that my "kick" (Minecraft sword swing) has a really unsubtle transition. Of course, considering the change in character design, I'm not sure if thats a good or bad thing. Either way I'm not too sure how to fix it. I could do a transition but it may look awkward, or maybe a special effect cloud "poof" over it... idk. EDIT- Went with a weird mid transformation phase frame. I'll keep it like that unless I can think of something else.

I've just been alternating between working on more important things and being too tired/having too much trouble when I do sit down and try. Yeah, pretty much me except switch "too tired" with "swamped" when it comes to this. I also have two other spriting projects I need to kick back on (the GB Pokemon TCG expansion, Mod Gen) and I'm going to sunfest tomorrow (don't hold me on that, it's an off-chance), so yeah. I still am in the planning phase for my fighter's moves, trying to see what would make him unique in some areas (I noticed that there is a "holding sheild" trend with the Guard poses around here..). |
