...wow, Pik, you're obligated to make a sheet of that now xD that is too awesome to let go to waste.
Also, you mind if I use the warp pipe for a texture?

Mario looks a bit too red to his background, but with all the blue in his background it certainly does make him stand out.
The blue and green shade on the warp pipe don't exactly look well together, but its fine. I could go on, but its fine as is. Good job.

Basically the above, but
Maybe you could fix the "too red compared to blue bg" thing by making it a sunset in the BG instead? It'd go well with your style there.

Day 4 (NOV 6)
WOW! I thought it would just be me and Drei, but I guess more people decided to join! This is excellent! But for my part in this, and I've got a couple things for you guys. I have established my own custom Mario style, and made some enemies and characters from the Mario series. All I have right now is base sprites, but I will sheet them soon. 2nd I wanted to try some NES mockup tiles,

Shouldn't the Beetles share the same perspective as Mario?
To be edited later with my sprite a day.

... Once again, someone posts when I finish my dialy update.
Day 5 (Nov 7)
My sprite of the day is just simple Nes Limitations practice. It's just a slime that moves. Also Im working on the Mario sheet, and I will post it tomorrow. I might do a non-8 bit slime, later,

You're certianly improving, but does it use the NES palette?
