Since I've already redid everything for slopes I say they can stay, at least for now. I haven't really had any errors or anything too wrong with them.
I'll let you decide when I update the demo.
and yea I know the rock bottoms only show on floating platforms, but that requires editing the platform adjustment code which I just rewrote so I just didn't make that little addition yet.

So here is what I was talking about with slopes
It doesn't look like she's standing on it more so that she's kind of floating.
and sprite rotations are ugly
So you could perhaps make the ground stick out like with the normal tiles. That's the only thing I can thing of to fix it

thank you so much for quoting this after many people refuted it a page ago.
and about the slopes, have you tried rotating the land about 45 degrees towards the camera
like this?

Was more for the sake of intrigue than proving you wrong. Knowledge is power, etc., so forth, you seemed to like the character, whatever.
go simple, use the first example. Mario does this with his slopes, why wouldn't we?

because it looks rather ugly, in contrast with all the detail you have put into the game's graphics.
You COULD pull a Kirby and do separate idle animations when on slopes...

This is sort of what I was referring to when I said make the grass stick out.
You know like how I have a separate sprite for the top of grass, you could do that for slopes too, so it actually looks like she's standing on the grass.
i won't change it for now, as this is just a visual issue and should not bring gameplay and other aspects of the game down. I know that I won't be using different idles because the character interacts with other objects more than say, Kirby, and this sounds complicated to do for a simple slope. I'll do something about it later.

hey, that might work! I just need ploaj's confirmation (if it is easy enough to program) and if it is, it should be implemented soon c:
otherwise, I'll eventually work on the slope tiles.

It should be easy to program since the idle doesn't really have an animation
Edit:
Still a problem
That's as close to the ground as she can be.
Again, adjusting the slopes sprites will fix everything. I'll make an example.
I suggest using this in tandem with the stuck out grass. I'll see what I can do tomorrow~
