i edited GSGal a little if you don't mind, cbl

1-I gave her hip bones. the way you made her legs before was a little odd.
2-Simplified the pockets in the sweater to improve readability.
3-I changed her nose, as the original pixel placement fused with the eye, making a single pixel cluster.
4-Gave more volume to the pigtails. The older one was too straight imo.

well, to be honest I'm not sure what I'm getting at myself. I just thought that the color of the ponytails doesn't match with her hair. I just thought that maybe her ponytails have too much light color on them?
But maybe it's just my computer

i colored the pigtails lighter because i dislike using inlines in this style...

i re-added the shadow from her sweatshirt, and messed with the shape of her legs a bit, but... i was unsure on the position of her pigtail. it seemed kind of like it was sticking out too far now, so i pulled it in a pixel.

which one looks best to you guys?

minor spoilers. if you don't read this, you won't know what's up with this guy, but it you might have a better experience if the beat 'em up becomes a real game. your choice.

Zed is the next-to-last boss of the beat 'em up, right before Mr. Z. (see a pattern?)
he's basically the Shiva of the game, filling the role of Mr. Z's right-hand man.
he's got a grudge against Crappy, but i have yet to decide why.

he's actually a character i've had (though didn't exactly design) for a while. he was originally going to appear in a much older project i had with gatsby, titled Paradeem 8. there, he was going to be called Commander Zoda, in reference to StarTropics.

his redesign here is fairly minor, but it's also subject to change right now. i'm hoping gatsby can help me make his jumpsuit a little more interesting.

i took some enemies from a couple classic beat 'em ups and adapted them...


the guys on the left are galsia and donovan from streets of rage 2/3, and the little white robot on the right is a mouser from teenage mutant ninja turtles.

i'll also leave this here...

I don't know about him moving out of place.. (i mean sure you probably need to do it to make the attack but it would make him move a step forward everytime he does that
